Job Overview:

As a Business Development Specialist / Sales Associate, you will be responsible for prospecting new business, building relationships, and driving revenue growth. This position is perfect for someone with 1-2 years of experience in sales or business development who’s eager to contribute to a growing organization while developing their skills in sales strategy and client management. You’ll be joining a small, entrepreneurial team, offering plenty of room for growth and the ability to directly impact our business. This is a remote role with some in-person requirements such as client meetings, industry events, and occasional travel. To start, the position will be as an independent contractor/1099 worker, earning a competitive base salary plus performance-based commissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Prospect, identify, and approach potential clients to secure new business opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth, focusing on long-term partnerships and revenue generation.
  • Relationship Building: Nurture existing client relationships while actively seeking opportunities to expand accounts and services.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends and competitors to identify new opportunities and refine sales strategies.
  • Sales Presentations: Present our services to potential clients, demonstrating how our recruitment solutions can meet their business needs.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize various tools, including LinkedIn, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking, to generate new leads and expand the client base.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and that expectations are met.
  • Performance Tracking: Set goals, track key metrics, and report on progress toward meeting individual and team sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong self-motivation and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while being part of a remote, collaborative team.
  • Sales experience with a consultative approach is a plus.
  • A high degree of confidence and a natural ability to sell, negotiate, and close deals.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking systems is a plus.
  • Goal-oriented with a passion for business growth and development.
